The brand emerged into the Jewelry segment in 2009 with the artisanship of designer Rebecca Paz, “I fused my experiences abroad [working with designer Carolina Herrera in New York and studying in Polimoda in Florence] and my Caribbean influenced design aesthetic- to create a line which would appeal to an individual who cherishes chic, one-of-a-kind pieces soaked in island glamour.” These modern pieces transmit the e f f o r t l e s s l y , c h i c l i f e s t y l e experienced in the Caribbean. As a matter of fact, the main goal of the BECK brand is to, 'create a Caribbean lifestyle which can be transported and simulated anywhere in the world, crossing country borders and cultural barriers.' Each handcrafted piece is uniquely created in the Dutch island of Curaçao using the highest quality materials hand picked from all over the world collected by the designer during her many travels- Italian silver and 14kt gold-filled wires intertwine semi-precious stones chosen from Africa, India and Brazil, Egyptian and Swarovski crystals, Czech glass stones and Japanese freshwater Biwa pearls. Prices range between 35 - 80 dollars depending on the level of craftsmanship and the rarity of the stones utilized in the piece.

"The summer line has taken a turn into the deep golds, smokey crystals and deep, deep mystic blues inspired by the rich, thick Caribbean evenings by the sea...
