this is a relatively new laser procedure that stimulates collagen production to improve wrinkles, aging and acne scars. very expensive, very painful but proving to be worth it. I've had 5 procedures so far at 1500 each. wondering what anyone else's experience may have been with this laser and if anyone has tried the new fraxel repair laser.

wow! where did you get this procedure done? was it at a dermatologist's office or do they do this @ spas? i've never heard of it but sounds amazing.

I had it done by a dermatologist at Mt. Sinai. Don't have it done by a tech even though some are trained to do it. Lasers should be handled by MD's! It's a good procedure with few or no risks but the results are very modest. If you have acne scars and you want improvement with little recovery time and you have the money - 1K to 1.5K per treatment, I say go for it. You need about 5 treatments and max improvement is seen in about 3-6 months.
