The Eve Bracelet at Polished LemonsPolished Lemons - a name that sticks in your mind and home of the Eve Bracelet.  Quite honestly, one of the more unique and memorable pieces that have come our way.  Designer Taylor Conner (another memorable name) has been creating jewelry for 10 years.  After creating a stir and generating requests for commissioned pieces, she decided to open a boutique - Polished Lemons.  What is it about antique, used items that inspires creative genius?  Maybe the potential they hold to be reborn.   While many of us may never have seen a French Shoe Buckle  - the images of dancing ladies in corseted dresses wearing velvet shoes adorned with jeweled buckles conjure up glamour, intrigue and scandal.

The Eve Bracelet is an antique French shoe buckle, from the 1800's or early 1900's.   The buckle which measures approximately 1-1/2" high and 2" wide,"  is cleaned, backed with velvet and attached to an Onyx and Hematite stone cuff.  The buckle that adorned my Eve Bracelet subtly reminded me of the Chanel C's in reverse, surrounded by a double layered frame.

The cuff is designed to be stretched open and placed on your wrist.  I have a very small wrist and had to take extra caution in putting it on because of the delicate beading.  Once on, the Eve Bracelet is very comfortable, especially the velvet under siding of the buckle and stays in place.

Each bracelet is unique - like the woman who wears it.  The Eve Bracelet $300. It is made to order so please allow 6-10 business days.  Think of it as an investment piece. Something you can wear again and again.  Not just a piece of jewelry but a conversation piece that will stir up interest from admirers for years to come..

The Eve Bracelet- 5 Stars!
