Jeanne Nicole adds personality to each of her jewelry designs by describing them with the characteristics that inspire her creations. Determined is described as "Freedom to express how you like to live your life. You are goal-oriented and love to explore the extremes of your incredible, God-given talents and imagination." Determined is made of a 14k gold filled chain measuring a stylish 20" long. At the end of the chain floats a gold plate vintage style butterfly featuring open lace work. The gold on the chain and butterfly look brighter in person. The upper parts of the butterfly's wings are arched slightly, adding dimension and a feeling of flight. The clasp is located at the bottom of the necklace and attached to the butterfly's upper right wing. Across from the clasp on the left, is a lavender glass stone set in a circle frame. A lavender jade teardrop hangs from the bottom of the left wing. The unexpected positioning of the jade gives this otherwise delicate, feminine necklace an element of boldness. It's an accessory with impact. Jeanne's signature is her ability to take classic pieces and give them an edgy, modern slant without compromising glamour.

Another great feature is that it can be worn several different ways; with the butterfly hanging directly in the center or off to one side closer to the collar bone. I like wearing the butterfly to one side but have to re-adjust it several times to keep it in place. It can also be layered with shorter strands of pearls, a coordinating crystal necklace in a shorter length or plain gold chains. The length can be changed by wrapping it around to create a double strand choker. It looks good with a fitted turtleneck, boatneck, this season's chiffon blouses and flowing tunics, a strapless dress, or just a plain tee or tank and jeans. Determined is not for the shy, expect to get noticed.

Determined was delivered with a personal touch, in a violet organza pouch with a card containing Jeanne's own fashion and beauty tips. The butterfly measures 1-1/2" across the largest part of the wingspan and 3/4" across the bottom. Lavender jade measures 3/4" across the widest part and 1" long.
